From the bandeja paisa to the empanadas, the Brazilian pão de queijo (big beautiful browned puffed cheese balls inside ), and all of the homemade desserts--this place never misses ! The ambiance inside the restaurant is warm and inviting, with a relaxed and authentic vibe that reflects Colombian culture. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a full meal, the atmosphere makes you feel at home. I usually order to go, and the food is consistently amazing, fresh, and incredibly affordable. When I've dined in, the experience was a bit different. The wait was quite long, and the service left something to be desired. However, the quality of the food keeps me coming back, whether it's takeout or dining in. Right now, I'm on a diet, so I haven't had the chance to indulge fully, but even when I do, it's such great value for the price. Their side sauces for the empanadas are out of this world--be sure to ask for extra because you won't find anything like them anywhere else! If you're looking for authentic Colombian food in the area, Mambo Café is a must-visit. “ What a fun & casual eatery/diner to go to for Colombian food! Friendly service, though I found that it helps if you know a bit of Spanish. Food was delicious with an exception. I did enjoy the mofongos, churrasco but the chicharrón was hard, impossible to bite into. Would still go back to try other things! ”

The passion fruit cheesecake does not taste like it's made in house, probably outsourced somewhere- I would skip out on it and try another pastry instead. Wish the chicharron was more crispy. Overall pretty good Service: we came here on a Saturday afternoon around 12 pm and it was surprisingly not too busy. Lots of empty tables around us. food took a while to come out (over 30 minutes) but it was fine bc we had some bites of bread and coffee to hold us over. Ambiance: good casual lunch spot if you want some Colombian food. Had some subtle music which was nice to listen to. ”

They reorganized the menu since the last time we were here and put the Mexican dishes in a section. So in addition to Colombian they also have Mexican. We had Flautas today. Both were very good. No room for dessert! ”
